Tania's Baptism
Calling all ward members! There is a darling girl named Tania that has decided to be baptized Monday at 3:30 PM. I know 3:30 PM isn't the easiest time, but cute Tania is the only one of her friends that is a member, and also of her family so any support would be really cool. It should be a short baptism so if it means slipping out of work quickly or postponing the gym or homework for a little bit, please please please do so, so she can feel of our love and support.

40 Day Walk with the Savior
In stake conference last week we were invited to participate in a 40 day walk with the Savior. Beginning on Thanksgiving day, we will read the 4 gospels chronologically. For 40 days we will study the scriptures and watch videos on lds.org. We will learn who Jesus was, what he said, what he did, and why it was important. Most importantly, we will grow closer to our Savior and become His disciples.
Reading lists were handed out in sacrament meeting today, so if you didn't get one please refer to the online version or contact a member of the bishopric for the handout. We will be posting weekly reminders on the facebook page and blog which will include a list of the readings/videos for that particular week.
We want this experience to be an interactive one so feel free to involve friends and family members. Share with those around you the experiences you have while studying the life of Christ. We have a wonderful opportunity to better ourselves and strengthen our testimonies, please don't let this 40-day opportunity pass you by.
